Delight yourself in the Lord, Longboarding Missionaries
Psalm 37:3-4
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
My wife learned how to longboard today, and she’s now, probably, the best longnboarding, live aboard, sailing, goofy footed missionary in all of Fort Lauderdale. She is the most beautiful one of those for sure.
The verse above was written by God, to me. Its the only reason that I can think of as to why I am able to do what we are doing. This is the desire of my heart, to be with my family, on a boat, able to go wherever God calls at any moment.
When we were in the process of praying about taking this step of faith, selling our home, business, things, and burying a boat to live aboard, and become traveling ambassadors of God, I wondered why in the world God would grant this desire. Thats why this verse was written for me, my delight has been in the Lord, not perfectly or completely, but He truly is my delight. He is what I trust in completely. He is my last, and only hope, and I have complete peace and joy, knowing that my life, and my family are completely in His hands. Thank you Jesus.
