Merry Christmas and Happy 2024

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a New Year…we certainly are excited for 2024!!

Our 2023 can be summed up as a year of transition and change

In the last 12 months, we have… handed over our church plant, Calvary Chapel Belem, and its ministries to its new leadership; we have moved countries and started all over again in our new home state of California; Kyle started a new job as an Assistant Pastor at Reliance Church here in Temecula, CA. Kyle is responsible for church operations, and home groups, and he is helping with Calvary International Training Institute (CITI) where he is engaged in helping raise up the next generation of Christian Ministry Leaders; Krista has continued to develop Dia Gratia, Inc but has begun a new ministry under it, Applied Care for Trauma (ACT); Liam started college at Baylor University in Waco, TX; but the most exciting change was the graduation from parent to grandparents for us with the birth of our granddaughter, Eliyanah Grace Fox (a big thanks to Aidan and Isabella for this little blessing).

It has been a whirlwind and quite the adventure. Everything is so different than it was just a few short months ago, and while it has been so good it has been quite an adjustment. One of the questions we get asked most often is, “How’s the transition going?”, and the answer to that question really depends on the day and who in the Fox family is asked. For some of us, the transition has been easier than expected, and for others it has been difficult at times. I have learned that with each monumental change there is always a season of grieving. I noticed it and walked through the grieving process when we first left everything that we knew to become missionaries, and now I see it again in myself 8+ years later as I grieve the life we created in Belem, Para, Brazil. However, as is normal with grieving, the cycle of good vs. hard comes in waves, but we are thankful that the One, Jesus Christ, who we do all these things for is our strength and our firm foundation. Wherever the Lord guides and directs us we will do as Proverbs 23:26 advises, “…give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways”.  We will continue to give the Lord our hearts, our lives, and our giftings and we will remain focused on Jesus and His ways.

Wherever the Lord guides and directs us we will do as Proverbs 23:26 advises, “…give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways”.  We will continue to give the Lord our hearts, our lives, and our giftings and we will remain focused on Jesus and His ways.

We are so thankful to each one of you and would love your continued prayers and support as we enter a New Year. Our non-Profit, Dia Gratia, Inc, its ministries (The Proverbs 24:11 Ministry and The Applied Care for Trauma Ministry) as well as the missionaries that Dia Gratia supports, would not be possible without you all.

Prayers:

-Krista is traveling to the Philippines in February and will teach at a Pastors and leaders conference implementing the Applied Care for Trauma (ACT) workshop to help equip their leadership to work with those effected in human trafficking, forced prostitution, etc.

-Kyle is organizing a team to bring to the Amazonian region of Belem, Para, Brazil to help encourage and build up the ministry workers along the Amazon at their yearly conference and to visit and encourage our brothers and sisters of Calvary Belém.

-Pray for our 6 missionaries serving in different areas around the world.

-Pray for financial support to continue the ministry and work that Dia Gratia is active in around the world.

*Donations to Dia Gratia are tax deductible, make sure to get your donation in before the end of the year!

We love you all and are so happy to be partners with you in sharing the Gospel of Jesus around the world!!

Much Love,

Kyle and Krista Fox
