Prayer Requests and Praise Reports

Prayer Requests:

  • Krista had been sick and had signs of jaundice, but she is feeling much better, her eyes are still yellow, but the blood work didn’t show anything alarming, just some vitamin deficiencies. Pray for complete healing.

  • Please continue to pray about our visas. Our current visas expire in August and we are now applying for missionary visas.

  • Please pray that we could get a vehicle.

  • Please pray for funds for Aidan and Liam to go on the school missions trip to Santarem, Brazil, they need to raise about $250 each my March 6th.

  • Please pray for funds for our family to be able to travel back to the states over the summer and for money for the missionary visas. We hope to spend the summer in the US, visiting different churches in order to raise support, and obtain our new visas.

  • Upcoming outreach at a Local college campus. We are in the very early stages of praying and planning. Please pray for the students that we might be able to interact with.

  • Krista has a meeting with an international group to discuss the sex-trafficking work that we are praying about beginning. Pray that the Lord will guide us in this area.

  • Pray for discernment in the possibility of starting a new Calvary Chapel church plant in Belem.

Current News/Praise Report:

  • Last Friday at AVA’s chapel service, we had 12 students make a public profession for christ.

  • Last Saturday, we spent the day with our worship team (from Calvary Chapel Amazon Valley) and their families. We heard a number of testimonies about how their lives have been changed through the simple expository bible teaching at the church. This kind of teaching is uncommon in Brazil, and we are seeing God working in amazing ways in peoples lives through the church service.

  • Krista recently co-hosted Calvary Chapel Amazon Valley's first women's retreat/conference for the women in and for fellow missionaries in the was live streamed in our house and was a blessing to her and those who attended.
