For those of you who are keeping up with us, praying with and for us, messaging us, and financially supporting us we say, "Thank you!"
Our work here in Belém would be impossible without you all. There are so many things we wish we could tell you all as we finish two years now as foreign missionaries...such as the many ups and downs of missionary life, adapting to a new culture/language/ministry, the day to day life of living in Belém, Brazil, how the Lord has encouraged us as a family to work together, and how the enemy is unrelenting as we go about our day to day work for the Lord. We would love to share our lives with you all...please just stay connected...reach out...ask.... We would love to hear from you!
We are very excited to to be traveling to the U.S. from June 21st to August 14th. We will be changing our current visas to missionary visas, visiting churches/small groups as we continue to raise monthly financial support, and of course we will be spending some time with our family and friends. We just finished our initial missions project with the AVA school and Calvary Chapel Amazon Valley and while we will miss all the people we worked with the last two years we are VERY excited about the new work the Lord is directing us to. The human trafficking ministry, Proverbs 24:11, and the new church plant, Calvary Chapel Belém will be our focus when we return from the U.S. in August. We did not receive the buildings that we had been praying for last month, but we are hopeful and excited to see how the Lord will provide for these new ministries!
We recently attended the Calvary Chapel Pastors conference in southern Brazil where we were blessed to be surrounded by our Brazilian Calvary Chapel family in fellowship and making new friendships. We look forward to growing with them as we continue our work here in Belém.
Thank you all!! We love you guys!!
